Storm leaves thousands without power
More than 25,000 customers remain out of power in the Washington area after a large and powerful storm and possible tornadoes charged through the area around 3 p.m. Thursday producing strong winds, hail and rainfall.

Spokesman Ed McDonough says there have been no reports of injuries from the storms Thursday afternoon.
