We suspect more than a few area school district officials might have been looking on with envy at the voting in last Tuesday's Cornwall Public Library district budget vote - and perhaps wishing it will go as easily with their budgets when they submit them to voters.

It's also now a virtual reality for middle-school students all over the state, thanks to a simulation game launched Friday.

The Ashokan Watershed Stream Management Program will hold its fourth annual Ashokan Watershed Conference, Designing Resilient Watershed Communities, on April 27 at the Ashokan Center, 477 Beaverkill Road.
