I think they should add something to his punishment. He should have mow grass, pull weeds, prune trees, and shovel snow for these people. Community service is fine, but I rather seem him bust his behind mowing grass with a push mower and sweating his heart out in the hot sun instead of doing something easy inside.

There is a lot of old cemateries that need cleaning up and nobody to take care of them. It would be a good job for him!

A simple story about 30 years ago I got caught by the police egging houses and doing other small criminal mischief type stuff....no stealing or anything like that.

The police called my dad down to the police station and the cops were happy to release me to him.

While in the presence of the police I was smacked upside my head and kicked in my azz on the way out the door.

The cops all laughed and I regretted ever thinking of doing something so stupid.

My dad then had me go to every house I threw and egg at and tell the people I was sorry, clean up the mess and that for punishment I was to do odd jobs for free for them for the next 2 weeks.

Many of the people were happy to just have me apologize but my dad made me and insisted to them I do stuff for them.

I mowed grass, painted, moved junk etc...

It taught me a valuable lesson, I made good friends with these people, I even started my own business working for most of these people doing odd jobs.

Where are the values these days???

Your dad was a great person, taught you well. Like that, you are right, values are missing these days.

Daily Horoscope for December 19

Gemini

Maybe it's pre-Christmas tension but people can turn nasty in the blink of an eye today. This is especially likely if they've got a lot on their plate or they think they're very important, and you may have to treat them with kid gloves if you want to avoid getting sucked into a bad-tempered war of words. Some gentle humor may help to rescue the situation before it descends into acrimony.
