An aggressive bear in downtown Old Harbor was shot and killed by the village public safety officer after it refused to leave, according to Alaska State Troopers.

The body of a man who disappeared from the city dock in Old Harbor this weekend was discovered by searchers in the water hours later, according to Alaska State Troopers.
