Old Greenwich condo fire burns into the night, displaces residents

Firefighters worked late into the night Tuesday to extinguish a structure fire at the Old Greenwich Gables condominium complex on Forest Avenue that spread within several units, displacing numerous residents and causing extensive damage to the building's exterior.

Fire marshal: Construction started Old Greenwich condo blaze

Fire officials working at the scene of Tuesday night's fire at the Old Greenwich Gables condominium complex on Forest Avenue said construction work caused the blaze that gutted three condominium units displacing at least 13 residents.
