A high school student injured in a northern New Mexico school bus crash underwent surgery Tuesday to repair a broken jaw and another student was in surgery for a broken femur, a school official said.

Three of the nine students injured in Monday's school bus crash are listed in serious condition at Albuquerque hospitals.
