Underwood launches hotline, civil, criminal investigation into Catholic sex abuse
State Attorney General Barbara D. Underwood announced on Thursday that her office is setting up a hotline for residents to report sexual abuse of children by clergy within the New York dioceses of the Catholic Church. “The Pennsylvania grand jury report shined a light on incredibly disturbing and depraved acts by Catholic clergy, assisted by a culture of secrecy and cover ups in the dioceses,” wrote Ms.
