Public to see details of a oeBlack Bridgea project in Ogdensburg today

City officials will give the public their most detailed plan to date for extending the Maple City Trail over the Oswegatchie River by incorporating an abandoned railroad trestle into the popular walking and biking path. A meeting will be held tonight at the Dobisky Visitors' Center at 100 Riverside Ave. beginning at 5:30 p.m. Described as an “open house,” representatives of Fisher Associates, an engineering and design firm, will present an overview of the proposed $1.6 million project, and the public will have the opportunity to ask questions and express any concerns, according to officials.
