Squires, 37, of Steege Hill Road in Corning, was charged March 14 with driving while intoxicated, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, resisting arrest, operation without a front/rear bumper and was wanted on a warrant for violation of parole. *Steven S. Serdula, 38, of Columbia Street in Corning, was charged March 16 with driving while intoxicated, having a blood-alcohol level greater than .08 percent, three counts of failure to stop when emerging from an alley, unregistered motor vehicle, uninspected motor vehicle, failure to yield the right of way to an emergency vehicle, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and speed not reasonable and prudent. *Jason Jefferson, 18, of Milan, Pa., was charged March 1 with petit larceny at Sears in Arnot Mall in Big Flats. *Henry Carter, 47, of Birch Drive in Corning, was charged March 2 with driving while intoxicated after a one-car accident on South Corning Road in the town of Big Flats. *Joseph West, 56, of Liverpool, was charged March 3 with fourth-degree grand larceny at Lowe's on county Route 64 in Big Flats. *Jessica Clark, 23, of Wellsburg, was charged March 4 with second-degree aggravated harassment stemming from unwanted telephone and text messages. *Tyler Crainey , 20, of Merchant Avenue in Odessa, was charged March 4 with possession of hypodermic instrument and unlawful possession of marijuana. *Zachary Vanzile, 18, of Watson Creek Road in Lindley, and Rusty Lane, 20, of Sagetown Road in Pine City, were charged March 7 with unlawful possession of marijuana after a traffic stop on Canal Street in the town of Big Flats. *Brenda Mazzarella, 47, of Horseheads, was charged March 8 with petit larceny. Because of two outstanding warrants for petit larceny, she was arraigned in Big Flats Town Court and committed to the Chemung County Jail in lieu of $200 bail. *Justin Brewer, 20, of Old Barton Road in Waverly, was charged March 8 with fourth-degree grand larceny, resisting arrest and unlawful possession of marijuana. He is accused of having possession of an all-terrain vehicle taken from the Chemung County Fairgrounds in Horseheads. Police said he attempted to run away when confronted and was apprehended after a brief struggle. He was arraigned in Horseheads Town Court and sent to the Chemung County Jail in lieu of $2,000 cash bail. *Jeffrey Harmon, 33, of Spencer, was charged March 9 with driving while intoxicated, unlawful possession of marijuana and other vehicle and traffic violations after a motor vehicle accident on Langford Creek Road in the town of Van Etten. *Eric N. Decker, 30, of Avoca, was charged March 3 with driving while intoxicated after a traffic stop on state Route 415. *Kenneth A. Smith, 37, of Summerville, S.C., was charged March 6 with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon after a traffic stop on state Route 53. A passenger, Antoinette LaVook, 41, of Bath, was charged with possession of a controlled substance. Both were committed to the Steuben County Jail in lieu of $750 cash bail for Smith and $500 cash bail for LaVook.
