Chantilly's Park Takes Golf Title
The wind had been tricky throughout Ji Soo Park's round, leading to three consecutive bogeys on the front nine and resolving the Chantilly junior to just wanting to par the rest of his holes.
For the most part, Park -- the first-round leader of the Virginia AAA Northern Region tournament -- did just that. But then he stepped to the tee on the 343-yard 14th hole at Fairfax National Golf Club on Wednesday.
Another foursome stood on the green, but Park did not think anything of the situation as he smashed his drive. With the ball gathering speed, however, the players getting ready to putt took notice.
