Road Rage Turns Deadly In Oakland Park

Hopefully this will be a lesson for all the angry people behind the wheel. People will defend themselves. I love my Glock!

The guy in the chrysler got exactly what he deserved. That is why I pak heat where ever I go, because you never know what kind of south Florida idiot you might have the occassion of meeting.

Typical south florida latin machismo.I see it all the time.I pointed out to a driver the other day he was getting a flat tire he shot me the finger and yelled at me, of course he was hispanic.What is that all about?

I have seem the same attitude from blacks, as a matter a fact black men are always walking around with a chip on thier shoulder. But in reality this has nothing to do with race the only way this is going to change is by US changing our attitude. PERIOD. And you with the attitude does not help anything. Florida is number one in road rage and not only hispanics live here.

I just wanted to say my peace about this unfortunate situation... My girfriens is a friend of David! As a law major...no matter what state u are in, David should have not been shot! PERIOD!!! Let's just say that David did attack him which is alleged, Mr. Thompson was only suppose to exibhit the same amount of force that was used against him...Mr. Thompson had the gun permit for work purposes...also in pulling is file, Mr. Thompson was also taught how to shoot to subdue/stabilize not to kill...meaning... for the first to ignorant dummies up top..(cwp holder & hammer)..no-life threating wounds...the leg, the ass, foot, etc. He choose to make it deadly and since David is not here to defend himself, that makes Mr. Thompson a killer, not a victim! POINT BLANK...He should be charged! One last thought before I go...You mentioned you always carry a GLOCK! Be careful, b/c u will run across someone, someday...who will use your own GLOCK on you! Get it together people...its not that serious...we all have deductibles!

Hey, Dawn,
If someone strikes my vehicle, gets out in traffic and attacks me, I will shoot him POINT BLANK, in his FACE, with my GLOCK and not stop until I'm sure he is dead and is no longer a threat to me! It's real easy to say what should've happened after the smoke clears. But when you're in that situation, you have limited time to think. Mr Thompson did the right thing and you people need to stop crucifying him for his decision.
Oh and by the way, in concealed weapons permit class they teach you, if you feel your life is threatened and you need to pull your gun, MAKE SURE YOU KILL THAT PERSON BECAUSE DEAD PEOPLE DON'T SHOW UP IN COURT.
