Honor Flight taking Norwood veteran to World War II memorial in Washington
James Liebfred, who served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II, will celebrate his 87th birthday on June 7. The following day, he and his son, David, will be on a plane for Washington, D.C. to visit the National World War II Memorial, thanks to the efforts of North Country Honor Flight.

A traffic stop on Woodlawn Avenue led to drug-related charges on two Massena-area residents that were passengers in the vehicle.
Potsdam assessments: what am I paying for?
My family and I live in Norwood, but still pay Potsdam Town taxes. We just received the letter of reassessment stating that the assessed value just went up $5,500. The only thing we have done to our house is replace a roof that needed replacing when it blew off last fall in one of the wind storms.
