CSUN Receives Nearly $4 Million to Foster Future Materials Science Researchers
CSUN has received a $3.81 million grant from the National Science Foundation to increase the number of minority students who study materials science. The field of materials science - the research and discovery of new materials, particularly solids - incorporates elements of physics, chemistry and engineering.
