International Falls Police Department Assault: A male juvenile assaulted an officer while he was being taken into custody Tuesday.
International Falls Police Department Theft: Dennis A. Kennedy, 1731 First Ave. W., reported Thursday that his garage had been entered and a four-wheeler, valued at $1,500, was taken.

Minnesotans who have died in Iraq, Afghanistan
The number of people with strong Minnesota ties who have died in connection with the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan reached 72 when Army Spec. Gregory B. Rundell, 21, of North St. Paul, was killed by a sniper March 26, 2008, while manning a guard tower at a base just north of Baghdad.
The list:
1. Army Pfc. Edward J. Herrgott, 20, of Shakopee, killed July 3, 2003, when a sniper shot him in the neck outside the national museum in Baghdad.
2. Army Sgt. Brian R. Hellermann, 35, formerly of Freeport, killed Aug. 6, 2003, in an ambush in Baghdad. Read more
