Northbridge residents can celebrate the holiday season with shopping at church fairs on Saturday and join neighbors in Uxbridge at the First Holiday Night Santa Parade at 4:30 p.m. On Sunday, a community concert will be held at 2 p.m. in Uxbridge and Northbridge High School students will treat shoppers to music and crafts at the mall in Millbury.

The late breakfast crowd at Mom's Restaurant in North Uxbridge wasn't talking a lot about politics yesterday morning, focusing more on their coffee, eggs and toast than on the previous day's eventful election.

Under the new plans a new Uxbridge constituency will be created encompassing the wards of Brunel, Charville, Harefield, Hillingdon East, Ickenham, Uxbridge North, Uxbridge South, West Drayton and Yiewsley.

David G. Huss, 55, of 50 Venus Drive, Worcester, charged with assault and battery, dismissed.
