Prestige Ameritech LP, a manufacturer of surgical masks, plans to turn a former Kimberly-Clark surgical mask factory in North Richland Hills, Texas, into what the company is calling a 'global pandemic preparedness and response center.' U.S. hospitals are experiencing a pandemic-related mask and respirator shortage, according to Prestige Ameritech.
