N. Miami becomes sisterly

“I hope that in the future, as we are to add future sister cities, we also look for those that are -- I know this is not a donor program in any way -- where we can be seen as something to look up to”

Sister Cities International is a nonprofit organization that links up cities in the United States with international communities. Membership will cost the city $339 per year.

Mayor Kevin Burns said the program was a way to help other cities and learn from other cities.
