Middle school repairs on track
NORTH HAVERHILL-Haverhill school officials are so confident rebuilding of the Haverhill Cooperative Middle School will be done by Jan. 5, the regularly monthly Haverhill School Board meeting will be held there a week after its scheduled opening.
At the December school board meeting held at Woodsville High School on Monday night, SAU-23 Superintendent Bruce Labs said he's been assured work on the building is right on schedule.
Labs said the contractor making the repairs on the building typically has 20 people working on the job site at any given day. Some days, there are up to 10 people working on wallboard alone, he said.
