NORTH FORT MYERS: A North Fort Myers man was arrested Tuesday on charges that he stole a woman's purse inside Walmart and then tried to escape deputies while he was handcuffed.

When I go out to shop, I always place the straps around my purse handles to secure it, so if someone decides to steal my purse, it is hard to pull out of the cart. Also, when you strap it in, you can place the strap so it is hard to see it.
