The Ross County Senior Citizens Center on Western Avenue and all nutrition meal sites will be closed today because of a boil alert for the North Fork Village area.

The water department has posted the advisory for several areas of the city. A water main break on Edgewood Court has prompted a several areas of Chillicothe are under a boil advisory until Friday morning.

The boil alert is for North Fork Village. The Ross County Senior Citizens Center and all sites are closed Tuesday and Wednesday due to a water boil alert in North Fork Village.

The Scioto Township road crew supervisor is asking North Fork Village residents to use Page Road as a detour around North Fork Drive due to the fact the road crew is preparing the road and gutters for paving this year.
