A plan that would allow Noble High School students to obtain condoms and birth control prescriptions at the school health center was put on hold by the School Board Thursday after board members said they need more information about it and need to educate parents before making a decision.

A Berwick woman experienced a once-in-a-lifetime experience by turning 99 years old on the momentous date of 9-9-09. Ethel McMullen, who fully realized the significance of her birthday earlier this year, was genuinely surprised to be recognized by 28 fellow seniors, friends and family member during a seniors lunch at the Lebanon fire station.
