I would be the last person to defend one of these sickos, but the fact is,while it is a dispicable crime,it's as much of an illness as anything. I mean, look at what some of them have done, only twisted people would not only do something like that, but even think like that. I believe you can lock them away for a hundred years, and the first they'll do when they get out is 'MOLEST SOMEONE ELSE ALL OVER AGAIN'! So,while I think they should be put someplace away from the rest of us,I say put them all on a secluded island, where they can molest eachother all they want,or better yet,put them on the space shuttle and shove them out the door when it gets up high enough,in the meantime,it might help if we understood what makes people tick,so we might possibly someday be able to prevent it from happening. Other than that, there are some sick freaks out there people, and some are even wearing uniforms. It's gotten hard to tell just who the good guy is anymore.

Love 'em or hate 'em,we all need the police and have all known good cops and bad cops. And I believe that the vast majority of them are good,hard-working people that only want to do their job and go home safe at the end of their shift. And while they have more than enough to deal with on any given day, this is one of those things that unfortunately, for a while, anyway, will 'taint' whatever positive things the good cops try to do. As unfair as it is,they know that people will paint them with the same brush, and this type of thing tarnishes all of them. Though I don't know the details,I think we know enough to say that this officer obviously has a very serious problem, and in many departments,if it is proven that he's actually done this,he would likely have a bigger problem with his collegues who would take issue with him doing this on the job and to them,as well. Even though I know I won't,I know what most people who see an Adams Police Cruiser from now on might be thinking, along with the jokes and insults that are sure to come their way. This is an awful thing,a terrible crime no matter who its comitted against, but people tend to forget about the collateral damage that's done not only to families, but also to co-workers. From my experience,I think that Adams has a good Police Department and they will get through this if they stick together and continue to be the professionals we know them to be. Just know that people still believe in you.

Hey, is there any chance that this officer can use the ol' "job related stress made me do it" excuse. You bet ya! The cops are known to play this card when they are caught at an illegal activety; or when they are grossly out of line and their wrongdoing is not hidden by their fellow officers; as is the usual case.

Mark my words Folks. Once this man and his lawyer come forward with his defense, it will most likely be job stress. Again, the cops use this excuse for anything and everything; so get yourselves prepared to see it here!

Daily Horoscope for December 31

Cancer

It's a sensational Full Moon in your sign, combined with a lunar eclipse! Holy cow! However, once you accept that even the best-laid plans could go awry today, you'll find that life is a lot easier to cope with. Try your hardest to take everything in your stride, even if you do have to rethink an arrangement at the eleventh hour. At least it's never a dull moment! Do your best not to let the tensions of the day spoil what promises to be some spectacular New Year's Eve celebrations. It will be an opportunity to let off steam. Have fun!
