Voters in South Colonie approved what Niskayuna voters did not on Tuesday. They agreed to over-ride the property tax cap in order to pass a new school district budget.

By Bethany Bump Gazette Reporter A large turnout of voters rejected the Niskayuna Central School District budget Tuesday, which was the only spending plan in the county proposing to raise the local tax levy above the state tax cap.
