This year, as Mother's Day presents itself, every woman in the nation needs to make a pilgrimage to a little country cemetery outside the small town of Niota in East Tennessee.

There are lots of opinions about what's wrong with Washington, D.C. Our nation's capitol seems stuck in neutral on big issues, especially the budget and spending.

According to the Chattanooga Times Free Press , Niota reached a 60-day agreement Monday night with the Tennessee Municipal League pool.

Much of the city of Niota, in Tennessee, is shut down, including its police and fire departments, after the city's liability insurance expired at midnight on April 18.

At midnight Thursday night, the city of Niota in McMinn County shut down most city services including the police department, fire department, and garbage services.
