Nov. 10--One phase of a larger hotel development project that was at the center of a tax break controversy earlier this year will get a financial boost from the City of Niagara Falls.

This is an example of money well spent. Especially after we remove the embankments in front. One of the few places in the city where guests can leave their rooms and walk the river to the park.

Sorry folks. I was thinking of the Fallside Hotel which was supposedly part of this deal. Although the Inn on the River was once a great place to socialize and a good investment, it is not near the falls.

Just think of it as an expedition to the moon with all of the craters one would have to avoid driving down Buffalo Ave. and if you really want to entertain yourself just count the rivets on the bridge to your right when you decide to take a little stroll on the back deck.
