Work to continue tomorrow on Interstate 81 between Newville and Shippensburg

Repair work was not complete by the time crews ended a day shift today, so the work zone will be in place tomorrow until approximately 3 p.m. Pennsylvania Department of Transportation spokesman for the area, Greg Penny, said repairs will start at 9 a.m., weather permitting.

A Newville woman suffered what state police said were minor injuries when her car was struck from behind as she tried to make a left turn Wednesday night from state Route 74 on to the southbound on ramp for Interstate 81 in South Middleton Township, Cumberland County.
