Are the dog owners gonna pay for this or our tax dollars going to clean up more dog poop? We get plenty of poop from Hartford ,sure don't want to pay for anymore.

Why not pay for it by ticketing all those that use FFH without a leash for their dog and let the deficate everywhere.

I don't mind except most of them cannot control their dogs.

Keep your Flea Breeders Home! They are not kids. They do not have to come everywhere with you.

The country is spending trillions of dollars we don't have. The state has a deficit in the billions with a Democrat legislature wanting to spend more and a Republican governor afraid to veto. Most towns and cities making budget cutbacks they don't want to make. And, we have the Danbury News Times with an editorial board that thinks "It is time for a dog park". I think they are trying to make the O'Riley Pin Head list in hopes that it increases their circulation. There has to be a hundred valid issues in the Danbury that they could address and they pick dog park. Pin Heads!

New York City has dog runs all over the place.

"Dog Runs: Dog runs are large, fenced-in areas for dogs to exercise unleashed. Created with the expertise of a Parks Department landscape architect and volunteers, the runs encourage play while supplying good drainage, safe lighting, and healthy plantings."

It could be done very easily with volunteer efforts and private donations at no cost to the tax payer with the exception of giving up some space in FFH. I think it is a great
idea, keep me posted.

Newtown needs a dog park in the worst way.
Every open field that is designated as a town park (especially up in the Taunton Lake district), where dogs USED to be allowed off-leash, have been shut down to dogs running free (supervised of course), and Leash law notices put up, thanks to a few whining cry babies, who ruined it for the rest of us.
whoever you are responsible for that: YOU SUCK !!!!!

If these dog owners can't keep their mutts home, perhaps the town can designate a small area for the dog park next to the sewage treatment plant.

The town acts like they want children on leashes too. Heaven forbid the kids go play somewhere besides they're own yard. What do we get for all these taxes anyway. Locked inside then then neighbors b!tch and moan too!!! Time to move.

Daily Horoscope for December 19

Sagittarius

A loved one gets hold of the wrong end of the stick today, causing endless hassle and fuss. They're likely to get upset in the process, so you have to calm them down, and that could lead to a squabble. You may also have to cope with discord when discussing family matters, with certain people getting bogged down in daft details that you think have nothing to do with the main issue.
