$500,000 Bail Set For Cardiologist Accused Of Pulling Gun On Estranged Wife

Bail for a cardiologist with Hartford Hospital's cardiac laboratory was set at $500,000 after his arraignment Tuesday on charges that he brandished a .357-caliber revolver and threatened to kill his estranged wife early Saturday.

His urine needs to be tested every day for a good long time.

He should get out-of-state psychiatric care.

Now you know part of the reason malpractice insurance is so high.

The insurance companies ought to require random urine test from all doctors, even if they don't have a drug history.

If it saves even one settlement, it will pay for itself.

Don't take out tort reform on the innocent injured.

Obviously - if his behavior was out-of-character - as he claims, then he was on something pretty strong.

The fact that he's a doctor warrants extra scrutiny, because he write his own prescriptions.

Judging by his criminal threats, I stand by by opionion - he needs to be monitored for some time to come.

I can't believe his bond was cut in half.

Why do you say "just" an antidepressent. Prozac alone can cause agitation, violence, and disinhibition.
