ArDOT closing Hwy. 122 for bridge improvements

NEWARK, AR - State Highway 122, north of Newark, will be closed temporarily for improvements. The Arkansas Department of Transportation announced Tuesday that, weather permitting, crews will close the highway eight miles north of Newark beginning at 8 a.m. Monday, July 9. The closure will remain in place until workers complete making improvements to the bridge over Carter Creek.
