Ex-New Madrid public administrator accused of stealing

Who was responsible for getting her the job as "payback" for political favors?

A public offical accused of commiting a crime in New Madrid? I don't believe it. It's all a lie. She's innocent. New Madrid doesn't have corrupt scum in our offices or town.

The 'whole' town is 'corrupt'. Please, ignorance is just as bad as corruption. Both show weakness and a flawed lives.

Nancy is being accused of stealing more than 36,000.... if you read the article and add all the amounts up that are unaccounted for.. its more than 36,000

Geez, if you had the oppurtunity to do so, you'd do the same. I'm sure if you got a speeding ticket and was told if you gave them $20 on the spot they'd rip the ticket up, you'd do it.

What you're really saying is "no fair, I didn't get that chance" instead of "no fair..that's not how things should work".

I for one think Nancy needs to be punished! She is a liar and fraud. And yes I know this because I'm related to her! I feel sorry for her husband, he's the nicest, sweetest man, and she tells so many lies that this was all done without him even realizing. I mean she was making 50k a year is this small town thats good money not to mention her husband has a great job, but it wasn't enough. She had to be greedy and take what wasn't hers. I hope she does do time, and I hope for my family's sake her husband can move on.(she married into the family)

She was very greedy. Wanted more, more, more, more. There are people with no food, homes, and getting their homes taken away. Then you have people like that, who have everything they need, but just have to have MORE because their friends do and they want the same.

It will probably be like all the other ripoff that have been caught, a slap on the hand telling them not to do that anymore. lol If the husband needs a good woman I am available. What a shame for her family for what she has done.
