Meth lands New London man in federal prison
On May 9, 2013, Ferlin Patrick Edgington, age 55, of New London, Iowa, was sentenced to 100 months imprisonment for distribution of methamphetamine and for possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and marijuana, announced United States Attorney Nicholas A. Klinefeldt.

New London appeals Sisk case to Iowa Supreme Court
The New London Community School District is now turning to the Iowa Supreme Court to grant an immediate appeal of the Henry County District Court ruling, which denied its motion of summary judgment in the sexual assault case involving Jane Doe and Gina Sisk.
