I-355 communities hope to connect via trails

Full story: Fox Valley Shopping News

It's all about connections. Just as motorists now can easily travel from New Lenox to Bolingbrook and points further north via Interstate 355, so also will bicyclists some day.

You'd think we'd be more concerned about the State's financhial condition than the need for yet another bike trail? The Governor wants to cut human services to the elderly, raise our tax's and still build bike paths.

Perfect...just dandy...

Nothing wrong with another trail. I'm getting bored with Old Plank anyway. These idiots are going to tax and spend away our existence anyway... Might as well get something out of it.

I think it would be great also.

Hope to see it happen someday, when funding is secured.

Bike trails are great. The sad thing is they cost a huge amount of money - the majority of it going to the people planning it, not the guy cutting a trail with a Bobcat and spreading a little gravel on it.

I think it's a good idea...the timing for finding financing is not good. At this point, government at all levels needs to be concerned with basic services. Anything else needs to be shelved until the economy turns.

Unless it is deemed a "shovel ready" project by the administration (pardon the sarcasm). Economy is in free fall mode, watch out below.

Wow, big surprise, Kate = why so serious, looking to sponge and skim a little more for herself.

You want a bike trail? Get together, with yourself, and the other drones around town, and you pay for it. We don't need bike trails. You can ride on the side of the road. If it isn't good enough for you, then f-ck off.

Dude, seriously, back off of me. Your stalker-like responses within approximately an hour of when I post is getting old.

Tap it onto my taxes and I'll gladly pay for it.

Back off.

One thing we have learned about Trout, if it doesn't fit into his personal list of hobbies or interests, then he will tell you to f off!

I have heard the commercials starring "the most interesting man in the world". Topix has "the most selfish man in the world". Our very own Trout!

Unfortunately, this man is a proven neanderthal:

Is he uneducated? Check.
Is he a racist fool? Check.
Does he lie? Daily.
Does he also post as ollie, Craig and Tim Rout? All the time.
Does he even live in Lockport? Nope.
Is he a troll? You betcha!

As soon as you back off on freeloading, I will kindly oblige. Until then, f-ck off.

Kate = why so serious. Not a stalker, but a truth teller. Just because drones like you believe in giving away your money, and then spreading your ideals of spending other's money here, doesn't mean my opinion takes a back seat. Especially since you have eight thousand screen names to defend your unpopular beliefs.

Call it what you will. What you simply don't understand is that there's a way to express an opinion without profanity and racial insults.

And the whole multiple screen names is JUST.SO.OLD.

Believe me I know it is old. The list you are making is getting ridiculous. So quit changing names, to beef up your opinions. Emkay?

Daily Horoscope for November 10

Libra

With the sensitive Moon transiting your twelfth house of secrets and spirituality, you may not care for the company of others today. Make an effort to feed your soul this afternoon, whether you indulge in aroma therapy, yoga, or a chocolate ice cream treat. Being alone for any length of time should be therapeutic. Tell your loved ones you need some alone time and then take it!
