Jail death victim identified

The Washington Police Department has identified the woman who died in custody over the weekend as Delana Lemoine Ardoin, 25, 324 Carriere St., Washington.

i heard she was arrested...and when they booked her she couldn't even stand up......she was on drugs so bad.....they knew that and just put her in a cell instead of having her ck out at a hospital...and she died....

Sounds right. A few years ago I was locked up for a DUI in Iberville Parsh. There was a older man in there, he was very sick. I let hem have my bunk on the bottum, he could not get on the top bunk. About two days latter he started gasping for air, I called the gards but they did nothen. The next morning he died. I was so mad that they just let him die. I raised all kind of hell about it but geuss what I got locked up in confinment for three day, lost my bunk. After trying to help one in need. It's a sham that drugs and drinking has filled are jails but it really comes down to how are Goverment rejects the ones in need and pays the dealers.
