A school teacher and former Miss New Hampshire is being mourned following her death in a one-car crash in New Hampton.

Educators, students and parents gathered at Newfound Regional High School on Saturday to help each other cope with the loss of Deborah Jean Howard, an English teacher there and a former Miss New Hampshire who died in a motor vehicle accident Friday on Interstate 93.
