Anniversaries: Radels celebrating 60 years
<![CDATA[William Harold and Doris M. (Schaber) Radel will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary May 2. They were married in Marion in 1953, on the 42nd anniversary of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Schaber. The late Dr. C.E. Hershey officiated at Emmanuel Baptist Church. She graduated from New Bloomington High School, and he graduated from Marion Harding. He graduated from Marion Technical College in mechanical engineering and is listed in the "Who's Who Among Students in American Junior Colleges." Their daughter is Cynthia L. Roby, of Crestwood, Mo. Their sons are Dale A., of Delaware, Ohio; Dwight A., of Hilliard, Ohio; and Duane A., of Aetna, Ohio. They have three granddaughters and three grandsons and five great-grandchildren. He's been retired 16 years from Marion Power Shovel and Komatsu Dresser after 48 years. She's been retired 12 years from Marion City Schools and Arthur Feldman Tax Consultants. They are members of Berean Baptist Church in Pickerington and Moody Bible Institute Alumni Association. They will celebrate with a family dinner.
