Darlene Shoemaker, 64, of New Albany died as a result of a farming accident, state police said Thursday.

A New Albany woman was killed Wednesday in a farming accident in Overton Township in Bradford County.

A woman called 911 during a violent home invasion, but police didn't arrive at the house for more than a half-hour. Police said this is a case of human error.
