Gentlemen,
Your news report says in part, "Paramedics disputed initial reports that they amputated Stout's leg to free him."
It is unlawful in the state of Ohio for a paramedic to perform this surgery; without an official statement of fact from the emergency medical service or its physician of record, to make such a claim is irresponsible at best and slanderous in fact.
According to a press release from the Southeast Ohio Emergency Medical Service, the amputation was traumatic in nature and a consequence of the collision -- not an action of the emergency medical responders.
To state that "Paramedics disputed initial reports" is to cast doubt on the fact, and is a de facto accusation.
I believe you owe the SEOEMS paramedics an official, formal apology, a retraction, and a correction.

I see the Dispatch has made an un-correction to its story.
It now says that "Paramedics disputed initial reports that they amputated Stout's leg to free him."
To say that someone disputes a report is an implicit accusation; it infers they are lying; it is a slap in the face.
The Dispatch owes it to the Southeast Ohio Emergency Medical Services Inc., to the paramedics involved on that run, and to its viewing public, a correction, a retraction, and an official and very public apology.
Perpetuating this slander raises the very real fear in the public mind that paramedics will whip out a hack saw and murder their way through a trapped limb rather than properly extricate.

We were in the traffic backed up 1 1/2 hours for this accident. We were traveling from Minnesota. I would like to know how the bus driver is doing? Any info would be appreciated. Thank you.

Daily Horoscope for December 26

Sagittarius

Mercury turning retrograde in your house of finances carries a rather unseasonal message, because it's telling you to pay attention to your finances over the next few weeks. If you already know that you've overspent this month, you won't need to be told that a few economies are just around the corner. Get the facts straight and pay attention to the small print. You may also have to make some adjustments to an intimate relationship so it can move into another phase.
