One hundred four foot tall 'candle' to commemorate state's 150th birthday

According to Steve and Donna Keblesh of Mt. Nebo, West Virginia, a damaged section of a wind turbine tower the couple was trying to recycle has turned into the building of a 104 foot lighthouse on the cliffs overlooking Summersville Lake .

Marijuana, meth related arrests on CC Camp

Lois Jean Hersman Short, 50, Nebo, W.V. and Raymond Glen Hersman, 46, Wallback, W.V. were arrested early Friday morning and charged with narcotics violations, according to an April 20 Elkin Police report.
