Arts Council announces fall school programs

Sinclair indicted for club death
By Bob Belcher Daily Sun Tommy Sinclair, the businessman who has fought legal battles to become the owner of the town of Mustang now faces another legal battle - an indictment on charges of manslaughter and aggravated assault.

County to receive mobile medical unit
Navarro County Commissioners on Monday authorized an inter-local agreement with the North Central Texas Trauma Regional Advisory Council to receive a mobile medical unit valued at about $750,000. The six-trailer unit, consisting of two triage/treatment buildings and a mobile command unit, plus mobile electric generators to power the facility.
Although much of Thursday's power plant meeting was similar to previous meetings, with the same speakers and many of the same questions, the fact that the unbuilt power plant is for sale was a surprise to many in the audience.
County Commissioners meet Monday The Navarro County Commissioners Court is scheduled to meet in regular session at 10 a.m. Monday in the county courtroom of the Navarro County Courthouse.

County gives partial approval to city services
By Janet Jacobs Daily Sun Navarro County Commissioners agreed to a cost-sharing deal on ambulance service and economic development with the City of Corsicana, and tentatively to an increase on fire, library and animal shelter services, but balked at paying part of the Northrop Grumman property or an industrial park just off Highway 31.
