Hearing Postponed for Nanuet Man Arrested for Attempting to Smuggle Cocaine in Vegetables
Miguel Betances, 60, of Nanuet, N.Y. and his alleged accomplice, Francisco Gonzalez, 50, of Manhattan, have been in jail since June 1st after being arrested for allegedly attempting to smuggle cocaine in a shipment of vegetables, the Eagle Tribune reports .

Clarkstown Police Respond to Hit and Run in Nanuet
The Clarkstown Police Department released a report stating they responded to a hit and run on New Clarkstown Rd. and Smith St. in Nanuet on Monday June 30, 2014 at approximately 12:30 p.m. According to the report , a female witness from West Haverstraw said a vehicle struck a parked car on New Clarkstown Rd. and fled the scene.
