Shark washes up off Sheep Pond Road beach

Martha's Vineyard may have shark sightings, but Nantucket now has the real thing.

looks like a great white. very cool. those kids that found it must have been so excited. Why all the blood though, did someone spear it?

I live on Sheep Pond Road and my duaghetr and I found just the head of a small shark Friday 6pm about 1500 feet where this shark was found. I have lived there for 10 years and never saw a shark here before although a whale died and was buried right in front of our home.
