A history teacher at Munford High School was fatally shot by his 15-year-old daughter early Monday as he slept in his den, Tipton County Sheriff's Office officials said.

"It's pretty sad, I got a text before I went into work and then everyone at work was talking about it today," says Munford High School student, Brooke Ellis.
