Muldrow teen dies in single-vehicle crash
A pickup truck ran off a Sequoyah County road and overturned end over end, killing the 18-year-old driver.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Zane Wayt of Muldrow died at the scene of the crash at about 4:40 a.m. Sunday southeast of Roland.
A 16-year-old passenger in the truck _ Alex Cole of Roland _ refused treatment at the scene.
The patrol says Wayt's truck was eastbound when it ran off a county road into a ditch, overturned and landed on its top.
The patrol report says Wayt was not wearing a seat belt and that alcohol may have played a role in the crash. Read more
