Bobby K. Sliger a resident of Waxachachie, Texas and a former resident of Durant, Oklahoma passed from this life doing what he loved to do, preparing his deer camp for his family, in Moyers, Oklahoma on Thursday, October 4, 2012 at the age of 57 years 11 months and 13 days.

An accident Monday morning in Pushmataha county, kills two people. OHP troopers say the crash happened around 9:15 a.m., four miles north of Moyers on Highway 2. They say 34-year-old Daman Briggs, of Clayton, was driving an SUV south when a tire blew, causing the SUV to swerve and hit a northbound pickup head on.
