Garrett County investigators probe death of 15-month-old girl
Authorities in Garrett County are investigating what they are calling the suspicious death of a 15-month-old baby girl.
The county sheriff's office says a family member found Cheyenne Stein unresponsive March 28 at her home in Mountain Lake Park. The girl was taken to Garrett Memorial Hospital then was transferred to Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, W.Va., where she died April 1.
The sheriff's office says the Garrett County Bureau of Investigation and Child Protective Services personnel have been talking to physicians since the girl was hospitalized. Read more
