John "Daido" Loori

John "Daido" Loori, 78, founder and abbot of the Zen Mountain Monastery in Mt. Tremper, who died on October 9, was laid to rest at a cemetery at the monastery on Sunday following a three-day funeral befitting a teacher who was widely considered to be one of the most influential Zen Buddhist masters in the West.
