Construction of a new facility to replace Mount Saint Joseph's Nursing Home is expected to start sometime in 2012, says the chairman of the board.

The provincial government announced more than $400 million in funding over five years for nursing homes Thursday, including the construction of three new facilities in the region.

Many families have sick children or are suffering themselves from this horrible disease.
