A retired police officer currently working as a security officer in the school would be armed and given special police powers under an arrangement worked out between police, the township and the Board of Education.

MSG Varsity's High School Life, a student-produced monthly show, that presents student created videos and features ranging from academics to art to events, will feature a video production by Mount Olive High School junior Danielle Mitchell and sophomores Elizabeth Hunter and Dana Leger titled Holiday Traditions.
