An uproar of protest last night failed to stop the Westmoreland County Industrial Development Authority from approving a new contract to sell county property to The O'Gara Group Inc.

Westmoreland County officials left only bits of public paper along the path that led them to a controversial contract with The O'Gara Group, according to opponents of the security-training company.
About 30 Westmoreland County residents gathered among the military monuments on the courthouse lawn yesterday to protest a proposed tactical-training facility near Montross.
