SIMPLE ASSAULT: Susan Vitale, 43, of 413 Royal Road was charged with two counts of simple assault and one count each of recklessly endangering another person, harassment and disorderly conduct after a domestic dispute at her home at 10:56 p.m. Friday, police said.

Discharging a Gun in a residential area, harrasment endangerment, disorderly conduct all get summarized under simple assault? I got a simple assault by pushing someone who had pushed me first.
I smell like 5 different felonies here, but don't know the law all that well. I do know that The discharging of a gun in a middle of an argument with someone has nothing simple about it.

I guess you have to live in Royal Road for it to be clasified as simple. In the city this gets you 10 to 20 assuming you are not a minority then its 20 and up. Lets Build some Public Housing on Royal Road.

Vitale is accused of striking a 36-year-old man identified by police as C. Ebersole in the head multiple times, pointing a gun at him, then firing the gun into her front yard. Police said she then threw the gun into the street, where it was later recovered by police, and they were Drunk.

DOG-LAW VIOLATION: Susan E. Vitale, 43, of 413 Royal Road was charged after an incident at 6:45 p.m. April 5, police said. Vitatle’s unlicensed dog left her property and bit Kevin Yiengst, 418 Royal Road, while Yiengst was in front of his property, police said.

DOG-LAW VIOLATION: Susan Vitale, no age listed, of 413 Royal Road was charged with failing to confine her dog to her premises and failing to license her dog after an incident about 11:30 p.m. April 25 at 417 Royal Road, police said.

Seem Mrs. Vitale should have her own Police log. If the dog wasn't licensed more than likely it didn't have its shots. Rabies shots cost about 1K. What a shame!

No wonder she got drunk and got a Gun, they won't leave her dog alone.

I know there are many post here about all the irresponsible youth, but this is a great example of a very irresponsible adult.

Pointing a gun at someone is simple assault and shooting it into the ground is reckless endangerment. No intent to harm, just putting on a show. A really, really dumb and illegal show. In the city, if you shoot into the ground, chances are that "ground" is a city street and there are a lot of other people around. Changes things a bit there, Money Talks.

She was Drunk right? So reasoning goes out the window and how can you determine intent. I don't know the law but their should be something about using a firearm while intoxicated. This woman needs help.

This is her 2nd or 3rd arrest with alcolhol involved. What are the police waiting for? Some one to be injuried or killed!What about her children in the house.This the same women who left her husband while he was in over sea for the other drunk that night!!!

Your right!! More then likely she's out on probation from the other arrest's "Drunk Driving, leaving the scene of an accident, assaulting a police office!! what a winner.

Does anyone have an update concerning her court appearances?

This is ridiculous. This woman still is parading around town, owns a restaraunt and apparently has gotten away with a lot of what she's done. And seems to be living life just fine. I for one would like to see some action. And that boyfriend wasn't a catch either.

Just shows you that you can break the law by discharging a firearm at someone and walk away. The next time she makes the news and hurts people the paper will read "How can this happen" she on the radar please someone stop her!!!!!!

The best is how she now own's + operates a restaraunt with who's money? She suck every last penny out of her husband when he was over sea's serving his country!!! What a winner.

Heard she got off with slap on the wrist for shooting at some one? If that's true let's see the next time she goes into a drunken rage and hurts someone, how the authoritys will back peddle on it.
